Wool 'n Wind Fall Newsletter
Halloween Greetings!
It's been a busy year at Wool 'n Wind!
We pride ourselves on being a small breeder of intention. We only breed a few litters a year with very careful planning.
We are thoughtful about who we are breeding to make sure we produce genetically healthy, conformationally beautiful, temperamentally sound poodles who can go on to compete in the show ring, be your companion in hunting, obedience or agility trials, or your therapy partner in a clinical setting, classroom or as a community volunteer.
But sometimes the best-made plans go to the dogs!!
The long and short of this year’s breeding plan is we had dogs cycle early and late, missed the intended breeding, and needed to be bred in a window that we had not planned for. But with perfect pairings lined up, we went where the dogs took us and had three back-to-back litters.
This has led to the busiest year of puppies in our lifetime! And, while puppies are our happy place, too much of a good thing is... well... to much!!
Are you ready for a Wool ‘n Wind Puppy?
We just whelped our final 2024 litter on October 11th. Our red girl Lucy blessed us with 10 beautiful pups that will be ready to go to their forever homes in early December.
We do have limited availability in this litter. If this timing is right for you, please complete our Interested Parties form to be considered.
After this litter, we are taking a break from breeding by taking next year off. New litters will be planned for 2026. In the meantime, we will continue to show and be in contact with many reputable breeders whom we can refer you to if you absolutely need a puppy in 2025!!
